Spring Copenhagen – Gifts that last
History
Spring Copenhagen was founded by Peter Sørensen and Claus Müller-Nielsen in October 2015.
The original idea was to challenge the established design industry by rediscovering forgotten designs and collaborating with new, up-and-coming designers.
The idea came about with our very first product, which Peter had sitting in his kitchen:
The Pepper Bird. The Pepper Bird is an iconic pepper mill, produced in Denmark in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It was created by Sven Erik Tonn-Petersen – also known as Tonn-P – and has since become a symbol of our brand.
Today, we’re proud to be a much-loved gift brand. Born out of a love for good design and a desire to share it with the world. With the Pepper Bird as our first icon, we’ve since launched hundreds of figurines and figurative objects that bring smiles, warmth and beauty into everyday life.
