C.L. Seifert og Spring Copenhagen lancerer den originale studenterhue

C.L. Seifert and Spring Copenhagen launch the original graduation cap

In collaboration with C.L. Seifert, Spring Copenhagen is now launching the original wooden graduation cap. The graduation cap comes in bordeaux and blue and can be purchased either separately or as an accessory to several of the wooden figures in Spring Copenhagen’s design universe.

The school-leaving exam is a milestone that most people remember. Many will surely also remember the first notch they cut in the peak of their graduation cap and still have it at home.

Spring Copenhagen, in collaboration with C.L. Seifert, is now launching the original wooden graduation cap as the perfect graduation gift, either on its own or alongside our selection of decorative figures in oak, mahogany, walnut and beech.

A memory for life

The final exam, the graduation cap and the time that follows – filled with parties, beautiful sunrises and birdsong – offer a wealth of memories for many.

With the original graduation cap – available in red for sixth-form students or blue for students from HF, HHX or HTX – you now have the opportunity to give a special gift that can also become a memory to last a lifetime.

“The day you graduate and receive your graduation cap is, in itself, a memory for life. Many people can surely still remember the feeling of putting it on – the sense of freedom, and that the world was your oyster. We’d like to bring that feeling into everyday life with a small piece of design that works both on its own and as a complement to several of our other designs,” says Claus Nielsen, partner at Spring Copenhagen.

The original graduation cap

C.L. Seifert has been supplying graduation caps to students throughout Denmark since 1865. The company is virtually synonymous with graduation.

“We’re really pleased about this collaboration and to be part of launching the original wooden graduation cap. We think it’s an obvious gift idea for students,” says Anders Eriksen, co-owner of C.L. Seifert.

“With its focus on quality and fine craftsmanship, C.L. Seifert is a perfect partner for us, because quality and solid craftsmanship are also key elements in our design philosophy. You can’t imagine a graduation cap without also thinking of C.L. Seifert, so of course they had to be involved,” says Claus Nielsen.
