Breathing new life into a well-known icon

 

Danske Bank wanted to breathe new life into their iconic character Pondus, and the aim was clear:
to create a modern take on a classic that would resonate with heritage, aesthetics and contemporary relevance.

The result was Pondus as a unique wooden figure – designed with great respect for the 1968 original, but with a contemporary twist that matches Spring Copenhagen’s signature: craftsmanship, warmth and the joy of Nordic design.

At the same time, the figure embodies values that harmonise with the bank’s ethos: integrity, thoughtfulness and respect for the past.
A figure that embraces the familiar – whilst also looking to the future.
